A team health check is a structured assessment of how a team is functioning across dimensions like: psychological safety, clarity, engagement, processes, and outcomes. It identifies areas for improvement.
Quarterly is typical. More often during times of change or stress. The goal is to catch problems early, not to create survey fatigue. Always share results and take visible action.
Share results transparently, discuss as a team, and pick 1-2 areas to improve. Create specific action items with owners. Re-assess in the next check to measure progress. Don't try to fix everything at once.
