Using skills without a slash command

For skills without a dedicated command, just describe what you want in the chat. The formula that works:

"[Skill task] for [specific context]. Use [file or data]."

Examples:

  • "Build an Opportunity Solution Tree for reducing churn. Use the interview transcripts in discovery/inputs/ and our personas.md."
  • "Design an A/B test for our pricing page — testing whether showing annual pricing first increases upgrades. Use the metrics in my context files."
  • "Extract JTBD statements from the 5 interviews in discovery/inputs/."

Bad ask: "a/b test" — Claude needs to know what, for what, and where to look.

Claude already knows your company from your context files. You just need to tell it what to build.
